Ban Bo Luang in Thailand

Ban Bo Luang is produced in the district of Bo Klue a village in the province of Nan in northern Thailand. For centuries the people of Ban Bo Luang have salt from the brine they were from two wells in the mountains, are located about 1,900 feet above sea level not applicable.

The people of Ban Bo Luang salt is still the good old way. Cook until it crystallizes the brine and then dry the crystals in bamboo baskets on kettle. Ban Bo Luang, there are 20 families involved in the production of salt. All families have access to the brine without any problems, and they produce salt and sell them to customers all over the country.

According to legend, the salt was discovered in the first Nan, as a hunterAccidentally finds reserves in the hunt of wild animals.
