Aldeburgh - Suffolk is a coastal English town. The coastal part of the town should be noted, since Aldeburgh has an award winning beach, though the beach is made of shingle. It is very quaint due to the modesty of the fishermen's huts that dot the beach and sell quality fresh fish. The area is great for water sports and has some wonderful golf courses of note.
The Aldeburgh Festival of the Arts is a celebration of English culture throughout history and mainly shows variations of classical music. The festival allows for other things, though. There are a lot of poetry and literary readings, lectures on the scholastic art and an art gallery. Dance and dramatic performance often included as highlights.
The city is great for tourists in search of real English life or for a modest weekend getaways in a quiet area of ultimate. It used to be a much more vibrant city, with respect to the major ports, but much of the historic architecture and buildingstrade were destroyed by the sea. This has caused financial difficulties over the centuries.
There are several tourist attractions that can be used for the vast number of people attending such a quiet town account. There is something called The Moot Hall, where local government was held for four hundred years. The fact that the building is still safe, is amazing.
It is a very unusual tower and - more unusually - a windmill that was purchased and in aPrivate home. The most beautiful of all these, however, is the mouthpiece. It is a stainless steel statue, which is several meters high. Although it is alleged to sea a symbol of peace and a tribute to the many people are outraged that a man-made structure should be on a beach.
For such a small town, the statue has really excited a stir. It was damaged sabotaged, and asked to be removed indefinitely. This is undoubtedly because of the pride felt on the awardWinners beach, which many people hold A to the condition, to maintain their prices.
